Position Title:     Greenhouse Assistant

Location:             Bentonville, AR

Schedule:            Part-time/Full-time

Education:          High School diploma or GED; Greenhouse or horticulture experience is a plus

Job Description: The Greenhouse Assistant will work in an aeroponic greenhouse cultivating fresh lettuce and other greens. The assistant will take part in all phases of the growing process including starting seeds, transplanting seedlings and harvesting mature plants. They will also assist in cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining the equipment and facility.  

Primary Responsibilities:

·      Balances multiple tasks within the greenhouse to help support their teammates

·      Complete daily operation checklists including nutrient, pest, seeding and harvest reports

·      Cleaning all work areas and equipment

·      Follow food safety standards and comply with written rules and procedures

·      Assist and perform any other related duties as required or assigned 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·      Good teamwork skills

·      Efficient multi-tasking skills

·      Highly organized with great attention to detail.

·      Ability to lift and move 30 lbs.

·      Constantly repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

·      Occasionally ascending or descending ladders, stairs, stools and the like.
