Position Overview
Mercy Hospital Rogers is seeking a Surgical Tech for our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). This is a full-time position with a 6:30am - 3:00pm schedule.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms for cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Sterilize and arrange surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist surgeons during cardiovascular procedures
- Maintain sterile field throughout procedures
- Handle surgical specimens according to protocol
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly
Requirements
- Surgical Technologist certification
- Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology program
- CVOR experience preferred
- BLS certification required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
