POSITION PURPOSE
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end flow of goods from donation through processing and distribution to stores. This role ensures efficient, consistent logistical operations, maintaining accurate inventory flow, timely deliveries, warehouse set up, and alignment with store demand. By establishing clear ownership and accountability, the Warehouse Manager supports scalable operations and positions the organization for continued growth.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Manager owns logistics and warehouse management; it also supports all processing teams and SOPs while also overseeing the logistics of transportation of all donations throughout the end to end process. This role is critical to successfully transitioning from store-level processing to a centralized warehouse model and building a scalable, efficient supply chain.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse Layout & Efficiency
Design and maintain efficient physical flow: intake → sort → process → stage → ship
Ensure proper staging for outbound shipments
Continuously improve layout to support business goals
Oversee all storage and inventory logistics
Processing Operations
Oversee daily sorting, categorization, and production flow
Ensure consistent output across ~18–20 categories
Manage processing speed (crates/hour) and quality standards
Implement and refine SOPs
Logistics & Transportation Management
Own relationship and execution with Curri or other delivery partners
Schedule and coordinate all pickups and deliveries
Ensure loads are efficient and aligned with store demand
Troubleshoot delivery issues and adjust quickly
Evaluate courier vs. in-house vs. hybrid delivery models
Optimize routes, timing, and delivery frequency
Team Leadership
Hire, train, and manage warehouse staff and support processors
Set clear expectations and maintain accountability
Build a strong, mission-aligned culture
Systems & Data Tracking
Own tracking of processing outputs beyond weight
Ensure consistent data capture (processing time, category outputs, etc.)
Track logistics performance (delivery timing, cost, fill rate)
Use data to improve efficiency and decision-making
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience managing people in a warehouse, production, retail backroom, or similar environment
Forklift certification (required or obtained within 30–60 days)
Ability to work in an active warehouse environment
Basic proficiency with tracking tools (Google Sheets, forms, etc.)
Comfortable working on the floor and improving operations
Demonstrated ability to bring structure to processes
Able to build and improve SOPs
Understands end-to-end operational flow (processing + logistics)
Aligns with mission and organizational culture
Ability to lift over 50 lbs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous logistics or transportation coordination experience
Experience with delivery platforms like Curri or similar
CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) – strong plus, not required
